The ritual of hair oiling not only helped me overcome hair loss but also became a tool to reduce stress and calm my nervous system.

Growing out your hair is a journey, one that comes with plenty of trial and error. When I first started my hair growth journey, I made a lot of mistakes and spent too much time on things that didn’t actually work. If I could go back and give myself a little guidance, here’s what I’d say:

1. Don’t Use Coconut Oil

I know coconut oil is often praised as a holy grail product, but for me, it was a disaster. It fried my hair, made it feel dry and brittle, and clogged my pores.  What was meant to be a moisturizing treatment turned into a frustrating setback in my hair growth journey.


2. Scalp Massage is Essential

Even just five minutes of scalp massage a day can make a huge difference. It helps stimulate blood flow to the scalp, which in turn promotes hair growth. Plus, it’s super relaxing and a great way to wind down. Whether you use your fingers or a scalp massager, make this a non-negotiable part of your routine.




3. Cut Your Hair Sooner & Maintain Regular Trims

I used to avoid trims because I thought keeping every inch of length was the key to long hair. But holding onto dead, dry ends only made my hair look thinner and more damaged. Getting a trim every six months keeps your hair healthier and helps prevent breakage, allowing it to grow in a stronger, fuller way.

4. Consistency is Key

Before, I would try something a few times and expect instant results. But hair growth doesn’t work like that. The key is consistency—using Hair Growth Oil 1-2 times per week, incorporating regular scalp massages, and sticking to a nourishing routine. You need to stay patient and give your hair the time it needs to grow. When you commit to the process, results will follow.
