How often do I use the hair oil?

WEEKLY: For an overnight treatment or at least an hour before washing, apply 2-3 droppers of oil into hands, massaging directly into scalp then running remaining oil through mids and ends.

DAILY: Add a few drops on ends morning and night or as needed.

Can I use HINU on colour-treated hair?

Yes, we have many customers with dyed/ bleached hair. We do, however, advise performing a patch test before using our products.

Is it suitable for children and babies? 

We do not recommend using our hair oil on babies or children under 5. HINU used on can be used on child hair, although as a precaution, we strongly recommend performing a patch test before using our products. 

Are HINU products suitable for sensitive skin/scalp?

Yes, all our products are natural and organic where possible. Please be sure to carefully check our ingredient list for anything that could trigger allergies or sensitivities, a full ingredient list can be found here. As a precaution, we strongly recommend performing a patch test before using our products. 

My hair oil has changed colour, is this normal?

The shift in colour is part of the natural process of oxidation with organic oils and is a direct result of the absence of synthetic dyes or additives in our product. Please be assured that this colour variation doesn't compromise the oil's effectiveness or its benefits for the hair and scalp. To prolong the original colour, we recommend storing the oil in a cool place and always ensuring the cap is tightly sealed.

Is your hair oil  pregnancy safe?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend consulting with your midwife or doctor before using any product. You can find the complete list of ingredients for each product on hinu.co.

What is the best way to get in contact with HINU

Shipping 

Please allow up to 5 business days for order processing. Our products are made in small batches to ensure optimal quality and we appreciate your patience! Standard shipments are sent via Australia Post and estimated ground delivery time within Australia is 2-7 business days once shipped. 

How can I track my order?

You will receive an email with your tracking information once your order has been processed, which can be used to track the progress of your delivery. If you are unable to locate your tracking number, or if you have any questions about your shipped order please contact us at support@hinu.co and we will assist you with your enquiry.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you would like to make any modifications to your order, please contact support@hinu.co with your order number within 24 hours. We will do our best to accommodate your request. We can not make any changes or cancellations to your order once a shipping confirmation has been issued. Discounts and promotions cannot be applied toward previous orders.

How can I edit my shipping address?

Once your order has been placed we are unable to change your address. Please ensure that your address is correct during the order process.

The product I want is out of stock, what can I do?

We're sorry that the product you want is out of stock. Please sign up for restock updates on the product page and you will be notified via email when back in stock and available to purchase.

Returns and refunds

Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds / exchanges. If your product arrived damaged or incorrect, please contact support@hinu.co within 48 hours of receiving for further assistance.
